GerDay Bob,
I go away Sunday and return Friday night. My trips START at around 800
Kms and go upwards from there. For instance, tomorrow (Sunday) I leave
home (Hay) for Tamworth. From there to Newcastle, thence Gunbower, thence
(probably) Kerang to somewhere. Everything after that is a mystery at
this stage. That SHOULD take me to about Tuesday afternoon or a bit
earlier.

I do about 4,500 Kms a week, EVERY week.

Oh. In case you were wondering (you meaning ALL readers), I do that 100%
LEGALLY. Do the maths. Average speed = about 80 Km/h in a modern truck,
rated at 550 Horsepower, 2050 Ft/Lbs torque multiplied by 12 hrs/day I am
legally allowed to do, multiplied by the days. Some days the average
speed is a little higher, depending on the number of "city" Kms I do. For
example, Hay to Tamworth average speed will be much closer to 93 Km/h due
to lack of town. My truck is GENUINELY limited to between 99 and 101 Km/h
with the variation being due to terrain and driver attitude! Usually the
attitude is more like 96 mode!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! I just found a use for your Google Earth with its out of date maps,
Bob! You can track my route! I sure you can't wait! <Grin>

Kindest Regards

Indy VK2XB
