Hi Peter and all,
A bit more than 5 points but I'll untangle a few. First, Ken driving a
Kenworth talking on his Kenwood is often asked "What's the frequency
Kenneth?' something I though was pretty obvious to anyone having read the
news article or heard the song by REM if they could understand his
muttering. Then the lyrics make no sense even when written out so that
bombed, oh well.
Yup, seen the tractor races and it's even more fun when they do it with
jets. Not to be confused with a tractor pull where even MORE horsepower
is required. Those guys with the custom twin fuelies cranking out 1200HP
aurprise me, they can do exactly the same thing with a 12 cylender Diesel
out of an old locomotive. Why gear down when that baby puts out max at a
constant 800rpm?
Hmmm, the only Saturn antenna I remember was the old Cushcraft Saturn 6
three bay loop 6M mobile that outperforms anything that came after. I
sure wish I could find one around somewhere, it would fit in the attic
just perfect.
Oh, once in a while over the years I slip "ken" into a sentence such as
"that's a bit beyond my ken" just to confuse all but the Scots. Na ken
ye' unnersand tha' laddie?
A roo bar is an Ozzie push bar like you find on the front of an ATV only
kangaroos are easier to move than a moose and doesn't protest quite so
much. Maybe here in NJ we should have deer bars, we sure need them.
Not sure where the town of Genesee is, could be a burb of Buffalo but I
know it as a range of mountains in New York but then there is beer in
little green bottles.
Oh that's nice, somebody's trying to jump off the Point Pleasant Bridge.
The call came from Brick rather oddly enough, there's only the drawbridge
over the canal and it's not in Brick, the other two are here in The
Beach. Pardon my distraction that follows, the scanner has that effect on
me.
Oh you know Bob, teacher is always right you know but it's fun. Speaking
of railways of WA, if he thinks my frogs are something he just has to
meet Toad. I'll let you Google "railroads WA Australia" and you'll find
him. To copy the image out of Google Earth just click on file, save, save
image and it goes wherever you want it with whatever name you give it.
Waddya mean ANUAL pizza party? You seem to have one every night! Careful
now or you'll turn into a pizza and Rusty will eat your pepperoni.
