The short answer is YES.

Your next question is "HOW ?".

My answer is "What version of BPQ are you trying to use ?".

My next answer to whatever you reply to the above is "WHY that version ?"

I have BPQ running on numerous platforms including DOS, Win3.11, 98SE,
and XP.

My suspicion is that you are trying to run a DOS version of BPQ in a
Windows environment - it won't work properly. You can't do it that way
around.

If for instance you have a 4.08a version of BPQ, it needs to be loaded
BEFORE Windows is loaded ( i.e. under DOS ). You may then need to disable
the serial ports in Windows to stop windows grabbing them.
But if you are only running FBB then why run windows at all ?

Why not go the whole hog and run BPQ32 that is designed for a Windows
environment ?

I have a BPQ32 system running under Windows XP that runs the cluster
DX-Spider program. It quite happily talks to the serial ports with no
tweaks or work-arounds.

I'm no expert on the subject, just a sysop that uses the various systems
and they work for me because I follow the instructions.

Best of luck,
