Well, here at GB7DBY I have a BPQ ethernet port running ok.

There are a number of ways of doing it, some maybe better than how I do
it, but mine is COMPLETELY STABLE.

If you are trying to use Windows then it is a slightly different settup.

For my DOS system :-

In Autoexec.bat , the relavent items :-
CD\BPQ408A
LSL
NE2000
IPXODI
ODIDRV 125
BPQCODE
CD\FBB
APPEL

In my BPQ408A directory :-

LSL.COM dated 05/11/92
NE2000.COM dated 10/03/93 - or use any other driver for ethernet card, most
                            cards are NE2000 compatible.
IPXODI.COM dated 23/04/93
ODIDRV.EXE
NET.CFG - this is a text file you have to construct,
mine is :-
Link Driver NE2000
      PORT FCE0 - this is the ethernet card address.
      INT 11 - this is the ethernet card interupt.
      FRAME Ethernet_II
      PROTOCOL BPQ 8FF ETHERNET_II

BPQPARAMS
      ETH-ADDR FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF

Then the relavent portion of BPQCFG.TXT

PORT
       ID=Ethernet port
       TYPE=EXTERNAL
       PROTOCOL=KISS
       INTLEVEL=125 MUST BE THE SAME AS THE PARAM IN ODIDRV
       CHANNEL=A
       QUALITY=10
       MAXFRAME=7
       TXDELAY=1
       SLOTTIME=20
       PERSIST=250
       PACLEN=240
       RETRIES=15
       RESPTIME=50
       FRACK=2000
       FULLDUP=1
ENDPORT

It may seem messy, the way I have it setup, but it WORKS !!

Use an *EARLY* version of IPXODI and LSL, as the later ones don't always work.

If you need any copies of any of these files, then I can send them to you.

73, Pete G6KUI (Sysop GB7DBY).
