Hello All BPQ Users,
I just install WinPack version 5.4 which runs now under BPQ as explained
in the WinPack doc.
I am however used to configurate BPQCFG.TXT with FBB5.15C for DOS, but,
not yet with Windows 95.
According to the BPQ version 4.08a documentation file, i update my
personal changes in BPQCFG.TXT, call BPQCFG.EXE, copy BPQDLL.DLL and
BPQCODE.386 in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
My Packet TNC (KAM) is well in KISS mode and i can call now BPQCODE before
Win95 in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
All seems OK during the Win95 launching (!) and i can see the BPQ message
before the Win95 main screen.
Now, i call PACKET.EXE (which is configured to run on BPQ in the COM/SETUP
menu) and all seems to be stopped.
After a short moment, i can read an ERROR MESSAGE from Win95 : This
program has made a bad operation in the module .... Win95 crashes and i
must reboot the systeme.
If i run only BPQ TERMINAL (which is provided in yhe WinPack package) and
BPQCODE loaded before Win95, i can only read the node beacons, but, when i
want to connect somebody, all seems very slow and the program crashes ...
If you have any ideas or suggestions to run BPQ on Win95, they will be
more than welcome here !
