I originally stated:-
If you are talking about the DOS version (v4.08a) then you have
to ensure that the code is loaded BEFORE Windows starts.
This means putting the following into AUTOEXEC.BAT:-
CD\BPQ
BPQCODE.EXE
You'll need to put the BPQ DLL file into the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
folder aswell. You should see some text appear before the Windows
screen pops-up: "G8BPQ Packet Switch for Windows" something like that.

DOH! Yes, forgot to mention that. You need to go into Control Panel
and System and Device Manager and make sure that Windows doesn't get
to see the COM Port.
"disable this device in hardware profile" springs to mind...
There is a very good TXT file on Roger G4IDE's site about getting
BPQ running under Windows, it also offers the details to configure your
CONFIG.SYS with a boot-up menu and load up a particular Device Profile
ie: 1) load Windows with BPQ
2) load Windows without BPQ
Take a look at: http://www.ui-view.com if you've got web-access.
Hope this has helped...
