Hi fellow BPQ-users,
I hope someone can help me, please.
I am sysop of GB7BED, an AX25 FBB/BPQ BBS. I am proposing (with the help
of an interested fellow amateur) to set up a digipeating node in another
town (St Neots) where users can use GB7BED via the node.
The link from the BBS to the node will be on 70cm/9600bd and the user
access on 2m/1200bd. The node will be under the control of BPQ v4.09c with
the KPC9612+ dual-port TNC running in KISS mode.
I have the whole set up working except I cannot get the unproto bulletin
list headers from GB7BED to be re-transmitted on the new node's 2m output.
I can connect to GB7BED via the new node and can perform all the normal
packet functions. I can send FBBSYNC requests to GB7BED via the new node
OK and GB7BED responds as I would expect with the exception that I cannot
get it to send the unprotos via the node.
At the node, I am using DIGIFLAG=1 in both node port definitions and
DIGIPORT=2 and DIGIPORT=1 OK.
I have looked at using G4IDE's PIPETSR and this seemed to work fine but
Roger advises it this is not designed to be used on air and that he can't
support it.
I have tried numerous configurations of the INITTNCx.SYS file in FBB, and
various UNPROTO= statements in the the relevant BPQ port definition at
GB7BED and both the port definitions at the node, without success.
I'm sure that what I want to do must be possible (in fact in WinPack's
help there is a clear implication that it's possible and the FBB
documentation suggests that it can be done too) but I just cannot find the
right syntax to do it.
Has anyone done this and can you help me please.
I look forward to receiving your reply!
Kind regards & best 73 de Ian, G0BKN @ GB7BED
