Flexnet was not desigend to work in KISS mode with TNCs. I you like
to use Flexnet with TNCs, install a 6pack EPROM in your TNC. It is
the interface to Flexnet that is used to transfer the adaptive
parameters.
If you do not want to use a 6pack EPROM with your TNC, don't
use Flexnet. If 6pack does not fit to your type of TNC, write
a similar driver for it or don't use Flexnet.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. If you don't like the combination
Flexnet/6pack, don't use Flexnet with your TNC. May be you prefer the
KISS mode, despite its shortcomings (undefined timing, no CRC check).
