Didn't you want me to personally bring it to your door?

Strange tyhat you run a onde under win95 since win95 is known to be instable
and there for unreliable for nodes.

If you really got win95 stable enough for node work am I very impressed!
You maybe could share what configuration changes etc you ahve made?

They will!
Rmnc/flexnet and also pc/flexnet and other good nodes is stable!
I( think that also the x-ent (linux net or waht it now is called) linux node
and the tnc3 verison is very stable and is that stable.
Everything else than a node that stable is objectionable!

Good nodes should atleast be able to do that, but I don't know for how long a
node have been running. For several months any way.
But that is a important quallity of a node, but not the only one!
A old net/rom node that have been runing for very long, is certainly not very
good since net/rom is not.

Maybe! But then should it be replaced now!

Don't thinks that is the reason!

I little mistyping in that case, yes I thinks so.
I have tried to explain why I thinks so rather much lately.

I think you should take a look at linux!
Win95 is no good for nodes or any unnatended systems.

Ham spirit?
Don't think I ever have seen that as reply on packet before.
What fucking manual would help me solve that problem (feature)?
Or is that only your standard reply?

That is not my experiance, when I use windows does it run for some months but
then is something happning to windows and you have to reinstall.
For example that you no longer can use the explorer to move files etc, and you
have not done any changes to the system and can't figure out what the problem
can be caused by.
Sometimes when you install a new software is that causing some sort of
problems, new drivers etc can also do that.
But you should be able to use waht every software you want etc!
The last problem I had with win95 was when I made some upgrades
downloaded from microsoft site to correct some problems I had that they whare
said to correct, a kernel 32 upgrade and some other things.
But that upgrade messed up every thing that had to do with graphics, no full
screen viewing of mpeg movise etc was possible any more.
Direct draw etc didn't work evry thing was very slow, so I hade to remove
win95 from the hd and install it again.
I have now found out what upgrades, changes to system.ini the
system register etc are needed to make the system stable enough and what
upgrades you should not do.
I have got a rather stable system that can run for a while and works rather
good.
But I had to work rather much on that, all those setting needed upgrades etc.
And windows isn't user friendly to make som settings and to find out how is
not easy, those settings you can't reach through the gui!
There are no good documentation and it is very hard to learn how to comfigure
windows!
The standard setting of win95 and win98 is crap, thy are not good for any
system!
For example windows handeling of the swap file and hd cache.
Since some of the software I use only are avaliable for windows and also
drivers for some of the hardware is it the only alternative for me at this
moment.
I hope linux soon will be possible for me to use!
I have had some rather bad experiances of unatendes systems running windows,
like phone bbes, ftp servers etc.
>I have two pcs at home which have been running win95 since it

You are very very lucky then!
I have never before heard of any one who don't ever have had any windows
problems!
But you maybe don't require very much when it comes to performance and
reliability.
