I don't know what was so strange about the delivery requirements.
I just said send it, and I am good in the callbook.

I did not say that. I said I run bpq on a machine that runs win95.

In what way? That I could figure out how to make it work and you could not?

Nor will any other node.

Hey that would make an interesting sidebar. Does anyone have or know of a
node which has run for years with no breaks or maintenance? Maybe somewhere
there is still an old S2000 Net/Rom 1.3 that's been going since day one and
has NEVER been down for any reason.
What is the record? Submissions gladly taken!

Maybe because they don't deliver the goods (i.e. they don't work).

How come YOU think so? You said it.

I didn't say that. But it would be nice to be able to use all of my ports,
cards, etc. on the system instead of hiding bpq's resources from win95.

RTFM

Sounds like you have had serious problems with win95, and I have heard all
the horror stories, but the ones I have seen for myself were caused by
pilot error. I have two pcs at home which have been running win95 since it
came out in '96, they get heavy use and I have installed hundreds of
different types of software on them from all over the world, and have had
none of these horrors.
