Since people write the same things in their bulletins they get the same
answeres, so I'm aware of that.

It sure is!

No, it is usable as node computer etc!

There are other much better dos operatingsystem than bill gates dos.
For example pc-dos, dr-dos, free dos and some more.
There are some problems with the emm386 (but it still is better than the one
from M$, it is the dpmi support that is not the best) of the latest drdos, but
to use qemm9 works fine. But the memmanager isn't really a part of the os
anyway.

Don't know.
But a bit to conservative is he probably!

Bpq works as packet driver, even if kiss is a problem, but the node part( that
doen't have much to do with any mailforwarding) is not good at all.
By using your tncs in hostmode or another packet driver (if you don't have a
tnc) like tfpcx, tfx do you get a better packet driver thn bpq.
But the routing of bpq is the problem, that is the main reason for using
another node with a working routing.
If it is only mail forwarding you want, then don't run any any node!

Would be nice if the packet network could be a bit faster, more reliable, have
a working routing etc, that would also make it more popular.
We want a packet network also in the future don't we?
Not much is happening, the network is not getting better on many places,
rather the opposite since fbb7 reqiuires much more of the computer than fbb5
did.

That bpq was written for a 8088 and is not at all as good
as a node written for a faster computer is not very strange.
A side effect is that you can shoehorn in a bbs en bpq on the same
slow computer and that bpq is no node for highspeed packet.
