What a load of poppy cock!!!!

KISS just dumps what is rxed on the channel to the serial line. No data
checking just "here, have this". Not much of a protocol!!!

The programmer is also stuck with the limitations of the KISS spec as
well.

It is just that KISS has been around so much longer and is, as a matter
of fact, easier to program around and has greater acceptance.

Give it time, applications for the 6pack firmware will also begin to
appear independant of that of the flexnet software, just like they did
for the baycom modem system!!!! And these will take full advantage of the
"protocol" that IS 6PACK.

Remember KISS stands for KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, and it does!!!!

Regards

Mark
