My personal opinion is that it's neat to have a BPQ self installation
program! BPQ may not be the current 'darling' of nodeware, but it certainly
is a lot more economical to install and setup than are nodeware programs
that require LARGE computers! For years our area had a BPQ router running
on a lowly XT clone on a 9,000 ft mountain top and it performed GREAT!
My point being that when there's a need for a low cost node, BPQ is still
a viable platform. It's also a good way for those interested in
experimenting with networking to get started simply and quickly.
