Hello. I am trying to use a MS-400 quad port serial card with BPQ and a shared
interrupt.
Is anyone using this configuration that can advice how to use this card with
BPQ and a shared interrupt ?. I have a file with a mod by AA4RE a long time
ago, but I have not succeeded to use it this way with BPQ, even with just one
port enabled as a test and without a physical modification.
In BPQ's ports.doc it refers to using address 280 H as base address, but this
is obscure for me without more specific decode mods on the card. I don't have
a Quadram serial card.
My HD is set as a custom type using address 0:300 in lower system RAM.
Wouldn't this conflict with the QUAD setting of BPQ ? I had a HD crash just by
setting TYPE in bpqcfg.txt as QUAD instead of ASYNC, but I am not certain of
the cause of the crash, but happened just after rebooting to reload the switch
with new parameters.
Any help and all advices welcome.
