I have trouble with setting app Sylpheed on Windows 10 for reading an sending bulls and private messages.
My BPQ config:
Mail Mgmt -> Configuration -> Configuration
1. Enable Remote Access "checked"
2. Default numbers of ports: POP 110, SMTP 25, NNTP 119
3. User has password in User's settings
Lubuntu (where installed LinBPQ)
1. sudo ufw allow 110 25 119
2. netstat -pnltu, where I didn't see open ports.
Is there any way to check from the command line on the local machine where LinBPQ
is installed that the service is running? Before you think it's a matter of eg. Sylpheed.
I tried
telnet 127.0.0.1 110
but only got:
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
Ideas?
