I am restoring a 1958 mark 3 LE Velocette its an ex police bike which
was in the grey colour but would like to finish it in the two tone grey
and blue I believe they did them in Green and Grey, Red and Grey,
Black and Grey, and metalic Green and Grey, and some kind of Blue and
Grey and maybe a Metalic Blue and Grey
I would like to speak to anyone who worked in the Velocette factory
around 1956 to 1960 or knows anyone that did that maybe able to help and
give me pointers to the colour blue they used I am sorry to say I have
had no luck from the Velo LE owners Club one says they never made it in
blue and another says it was a metalic blue and yet another says its a
pastel blue so who is right
 my phone number 01761 232557
