Hello and thanks for reading,
I have a Commando Interstate which I'm slowly getting ready for an MoT.
Being nearly ready I'm toying with the idea of removing the two MkI
Amal Concentrics and replacing with a single carb, to save future
messing about with balancing twin carbs etc and, hopefully, make the
bike more reliable etc.
I'm going to use Amal, and can get the bits easy enough.
The thing is do I use Mk1 or MkII concentrics? I wonder if anyone has
done the mod to a Commando and has any comments.
Depending on which dealer I speak to I get different recommendations.
I'd be very grateful of any comments.
