Gee, I thought this thread died but here's an opportunity to tell you how
the law makes it funny. Prescription drugs are widely advertized with the
usual "see your doctor" (oh gee) phrase but what cracks me up is the
requirement to publish the contraindictions. They have always come
printed on the fly leaf inside the package and of course they must be
published with the ad and if you've never read them let me tell you
they're scary. When the voice over lists them you wonder why you're
trading symptoms which can be worse than what you have like it'll turn
black and fall off or sometimes resulting in death. Oh lovely, at least
now my bum won't itch.
No scam but how's that for the other side of advertizing?
