Hi Dave and all,

Advertizing a "deadly danger" is hardly a subliminal attempt but rather a
shockinly successful way of getting your attention. It got yours didn't
it? You answered your own question although you used the wrong word,
"subliminal" equates to subconcious as you are not aware of it on the
concious level yet it works "in the back of your mind". Subliminal
advertizing was outlawed in the US decades ago but still behavioral
psychology plays a heavy role in advertizing, in fact I know a professor
who taught advertizing psychology at the world renown Rutgers University
in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Guess what, it's subliminal but operates on
another level hence it is legal, simply a loophole regarding the methods
employed.

When I count three you will awaken feeling refreshed. You will not
remember anything I have said but that catchy little jingle and the
dancing bear will remain. Be fruitful and spend, multiply our profits and
overspread consumerism. One, two, three.
