Well I've just calibrated my freq counter to GB3VHF so now I have a gold
standard, better than before.
Interesting to see some rig tests with it.
My IC706MK2g (2 of them) were:
HF: spot on.
2m: the dial freq was +380Hz high for both tx and rx
70cm: the dial freq was -1.24Khz low on tx and rx.
Not very good Mr Icom (or should that be Icom Saan).
My FT817 was spot on HF - UHF!
My PMR446 handhelds were spot on!
My Maycom AH27 Chicken Box handy was +100Hz
My 706 MK1 not tested, it's at another QTH.
