Well I guessed where Albany is on the map and measured the following
distance using Microsoft Autoroute. (My copy is for Europe, so the map for
VK shows only the major cities.) It does IIRC, calculate great circle
distances though.

Take the following as probably accurate to within a 100 miles or so.
