Well ! Who said 28 was dead? Me? Yes I think I did. I have come to the
conclusion that it is the operators that are dead, or sleeping! Today on
28:
0200Z 28.209 KH6AP weak; gone at 0330Z
0600 28.270 VK4RTL 579
28.268 VK8VF 579
28.188 JE7NYQ 329
0630Z wall to wall JA stations on CW up to 599 between 28.030 and 28.050
apparently in a CW contest. High speed operators.
0800Z 28.188 JE7NYQ 579
JA CW operations still going to 599.
28.268 VK8VF still 589
28.270 VK4RTL 589
0930 28.268 VK8VF 579 still going strong when I closed down to go out.
Apart from JA CW at up to 599 no amateur signals heard.
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE
