28 and 50 have been quiet for a few days. However today (Wednesday 25th
Nov.) there were several beacons heard on 28 MHz (got that right?)
0320Z KH6AP at 439
VK4RTL at 439
ZL2MHF at 329 (barely audible). This one identifies in CW (don't they
all?) and gives elevation in metres. Difficult to read but I think it was
867 metres.
Yesterday,25/11/03 VK8RAS was evident at about 539 at midday but only
lasted about 15 minutes.
No amateurs heard on either band.
Bob VK6BE.
