Well how the heck do you work that one out Wilbert? I hope your other
comments are based on more accurate guesswork! I have NEVER operated out
of band and have never said so. In fact my gear won't transmit out of band
and I have kept it that way. Just tell me where you got that idea; I am
very interested to hear the evidence on which you based that extraordinary
statement!

As for the other matter of mHz or MHz, you can use whichever you like. It
is of little interest to me and not worthy of nitpicking when you consider
the spelling of other words used on this medium - 'amatur" for instance.
I am certainly not going to engage in any argument about the spelling of
MHz or mHz.

Just for the record and an indication of how inconsistent the use of MHz
is check on other measuring units as used in the ARRL Handbook - pF, mF -
mA, dB and alone MHz. Some people use the ARRL handbook as their
authority, and yet it shows such inconsistency in nomenclature.

"taken to the cleaners"? What for? Making a perceived spelling mistake?
Spare me, Wilbert! It is hardly misleading advertising. Come down to earth
again, p-u-lease! Refusing to buy his gear could be cutting off your nose
to spite your face. I daresay the firm didn't go broke through your
refusal to buy from them?
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE.

Needles to say, I refused to buy from a crowd that couldn't even specify
their radio gear correctly. In the USA, they would have been taken to the
cleaners for misleading advertising.
