UPDATE ON EALIER MESSAGE:

With the reports of unusually high sunspot activity I have been monitoring
28 and 50 megs.

Heard today 0130Z:
Darwin: 28.268 mHz VK8VF 579 loud and clear. No sign of the VK2 beacon.
Hawaii: 28.209 mHz KH6TP 439 with QSB
Japan: 28.188 mHz JE7YNQ 449 with QSB.

Heard at 0330Z
28.268 mHz Darwin VK8VF still loud and clear
28.209 mHz Hawaii KH6AP - barely perceptible -- corrected callsign
28.188 mHz JE7YNQ 439
28.270 mHz Queensland VK4RTL 329. Very weak.

I had to go out after this and nothing further when I arrived home at 0939
Z.

No amateur stations heard apart from beacons.

Nothing heard on 50 so far.
