To all Hams/SWLs:
From 23:00 UTC 23/may/1998 until 23:00 UTC 26/may/1998 two BEACONS
are operating, in these QRGs: 10.1395 MHz and 28.249 MHz. QTH: Porto Alegre
with Grid Locator GF49kw, 70m over sea level. The IDs are ONLY a carrier
7 secs long with 3 secs pause, N0N, continuously. They operate on the same
timer.

Reports via E-mail are welcome too.
The RIGs:
30m: TX QRP Xtal 2 watts, antenna 30m dipole with SWR 1.2:1. The
position of the antenna is favourable to north-south signals after Porto
Alegre.
10m: TRX Pace CB143 (ex-CB box) Xtal 2 watts, antenna 1/4 vertical
with SWR 1.2:1.
Common Timer: based on IC 555.
The circuits are very plain, so can happen timer shifts of about
1 sec (?), and a 10 Hz up QRG shift of the 30m QRP, during the TX time.
