I wonder if its just me that now has problems hearing the 14.100mhz beacons.
Prior to packet arriving on the scene,very seldom anyone would
cause QRM on that frequency...BUT NOW...No one cares...So from being a
very usefull tool to check band conditions,as far as I am concerned they
may as well be closed down,because I can seldom hear one because of the
packet qrm.
Its the same on the SSTV frequencys....No one cares...There was a time not
that long ago,that most amateurs would stick to the bandplans..But no
longer does this appear to be the case. IE Contest time arrives...Oh,its
very quiet,apart from some diddly noises on this part of the band,so away
they go....CQ CQ CONTEST....RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SSTV SECTION..
SSTV.....Info from my bandplan....1838-1842....3730-3740...7035-7045..
14.225-14.235.....21.335-21.345.....28.675-28.685...NOT CONTEST SLOTS.

I think most stations in the USA Stick to bandplans,but one group
have a daily net and totally refuse to move out of the SSTV section of
the band,after numerous polite requests (WORLD WIDE)
I WONDER WHY THEY DO IT ??
So the guy who was looking for the list of beacons,sorry I cant help with
an up-todate list,but when you get it I hope you can hear them better than
me.My problem is also no beam for HF,BUT...I used to be able to hear them
from time to time at sunspot minimiums,prior to packet arriving on 14,100.
HAPPY BEACON HUNTING ON 14.100.....
