Well I studied geography to University level and I would say that
Australia is not in Asia, it is in Oceania, or Australasia, which includes
New Zealand and a few islands in the region. Asia is a continent.
Australia is also a continent but not part of the Asian continent.
That is my story but I have no doubt that Warren will have soething to
contribute to that. He seems to be an expert on things Australian!!! Just
joking, Warren!
Barry you are correct about those Mercator's projections. They distort the
picture and students cannot see what has been added to the map to stretch
it at the extremities.
