Hi all,
VK5SR the BBS for the South East Radio Group will regretfully be closed
for incomming bullitens and out going maill in apoximately 1 weeks time.
I have been getting the bulls from Adelaide via personal emails from
VK5ASF and forwarding same to VK5SR on RF.
We have hardly any users left and services as provided by VK4TUB for
internet access using programs like Winpack are VASTLEY superior.
We are using locally the network of digis for APRS style mapping, search
and rescue as well as a system of remote weather stations, so all thw
hard work of years of building and maintiance will not be wasted.
Visitors to the South East of South Australia feel free to use 147.575
for APRS stlye ops, we have digis at Millicent and Mount Gambier 24 hours
VK5SR will remain active for local BBS traffic only as it is in the Linux
Box we use for the APRS and Weather stations (DIGI-NED)
