I  do  not  recall  ever seeing a half crown (2/6) coin in over 20 years in
retailing to decimal currency in Australia on 14/2/66.  I do not believe we
ever had one.
I  DO recall sending the staff round the twist in a shop in Commercial Road
London  in  1960 because I calculated change in florins not half crowns and
they did not have the two bob coins to cover that!
