HEAPS OF GARBAGE FROM THE UK. !!
Here we see more garbage from G6KUI.
I have interspersed my own comments, using capitals for emphasis and to
make clear my comments as against the G6KUI bulletin, in this extract.

(HADN'T THERE? I WONDER WHY A COPY OF THE RELEVANT AND SIGNIFICANT
BULLETIN (IN THIS INSTANCE) HAD NOT ARRIVED. PETER JUST DID NOT KNOW THE
FACTS REGARDING THIS.
DOES THIS TURN OF EVENTS ALLOW PETER THE RIGHT TO UNFAIRLY CASTIGATE BOB
VK6BE ? AND ALL OVER JUST ONE WORD QUOTED?)

if it had then it probably had been filtered out along the network and had
not been presented at GB7DBY."
(DO I SENSE HERE THAT PETER IS PERHAPS BACKING OFF SOMEHOW AND ADMITTING
THAT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN SOMETHING ELSE FROM SOMEONE ELSE ?)

BOB HAS DONE NO SUCH THING. THE WORD WAS USED IN ANOTHER CONTEXT BY AN EX
"G" OPERATOR.
AGAIN, SHOW US WHERE AND HOW BOB WAS "TRYING TO BE CLEVER!)

IT TOOK AN INTERSTATE TELEPHONE CALL (LONG DISTANCE) FOR ME TO EVEN FIND
OUT WHAT THE WORD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE.
THE WORD IN QUESTION IS RARELY USED HERE IN VK EXCEPT MAINLY IN ONE SENSE.
WHERE IT IS USED THE MEANING IS GENERALLY RECOGNISED AS MEANING THAT A
PERSON IS SOMEWHAT OF AN IDIOT.
THE NASTIER VERSION IS, I UNDERSTAND, MORE COMMONLY USED IN THE UK.)

AND UNDERSTAND ABOUT AMATEUR RADIO IN AUSTRALIA.)

WHAT ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING GARBAGE WE HAVE SEEN IN THE ABOVE FROM G6KUI !

All that Bob VK6BE did was to quote from a bulletin placed on the network
by another station.
Peter G6KUI has taken the matter completely out of context and conducted a
vendetta of his own making against Bob VK6BE.
Apparently neither he, or anyone else has so far been able to show any
evidence of foul language emanating from VK other than the ONE WORD
originated by a misplaced "G" operator via a "G" BBS.
I have known Bob VK6BE for quite a few years and have never come across
any instance where he has used untoward language either on Packet Radio,
Amateur Radio voice transmissions or during telephone conversations with
him.
To me, Bob is one of nature's gentlemen and is well known as one who has
contributed a great deal to Amateur Radio over many years. He is also not
afraid to have it known that he is a true Christian. I am personally aware
that he holds values that are far above those often encountered elsewhere.
I believe, along with the others who have expressed support for Bob, that
Peter G6KUI definitely owes Bob a sincere apology for the harassment and
insults handed out.
Go check your facts again Peter. You should be ashamed to have acted in
the manner we have seen.
Now he (Peter) has endeavoured to cover up by placing VK6BE on his Reject
list, he undoubtedly will not see the answers and case that Bob, and
others on his behalf, have provided.
That being the case, I have no hesitation in providing copies of several
bulletins dealing with this matter.
In passing, I also suggest that ZL3AI should also come up with specific
instances where VK stations have used unacceptable language via the packet
Radio Network.
I concur with Bob VK6BE as to the fact that there does not seem to be
anything much at all in the way of bad language on air within and from
this country. I have, on maybe only one or two rare occasions, heard some
bad language used on the 80 metre band. You can rest assured that the
person(s) concerned were spoken to immediately.
Contrary to (apparently) popular opinion in the U.K., and despite what is
believed to be the situation by some uninformed UK operators, and stated
by them about the content and application of our Australian regulations,
it is seen as completely unacceptable here in VK for Amateur Radio
operators to use what is recognised, almost right throughout the English
speaking world, as bad language.
In discussion with a senior officer at the Australian Communications
Authority (ACA) it was made clear by him that there are others ways and
other legislation in existence that would allow action to be taken against
any operator who persisted in such an activity as any constant use of
obscene or offensive language.
What is more is the fact that here in Australia it has been made very
clear for quite some years that our is a "self-regulating" service.
Should anyone persist in such unacceptable behaviour as has been referred
to, he/she would be heavily jumped upon by other operators.
It may also interest you to know that, despite the permissive use of some
bad language on such as TV programs, the various State Police forces can
still take action against anyone who uses excessively bad language in
public.
The bulletins relevant to this discussion come to around 10 or so in
number.
I will send these as several separate parts so as to ensure that a single
extremely large bulletin does not create a problem.
These will include some of the relevant bulletins that Peter G6KUI may
have missed.
They will also allow others who may not have seen the full story to follow
just what has gone on.

Bob VK6BE doesn't seem to know when he is using swear words or not.
He seems to think that it is perfectly OK to litter his bulletins with
four
and six letter swear words. He does it deliberately.
The man? is a disgrace to amateur radio.
His latest bulletin ( caught by M_FILTER because of his swearing ) has
been
killed at GB7DBY BBS.
VK6BE has also been placed on reject here at GB7DBY, something that is
very
rarely done to anyone.
Enough is enough and I've had enough of VK6BE - he's nothing more than a
foul mouthed troublemaker.
