Hello Fellow ARCHIM's (and other readers)

As far as I know the main differences between the Psion versions
and the Acorn Rebadged ones was (in the case of the Pocket Book / Psion 3)/is:
	a) Price

The Acorn Versions where always more Expensive than There
Psion counter parts, partly due to the Middle man invovled
(Psion) and partly due (probably) to Acorns want of more
profit from Commercial / Home users so they could supply
 		them Cheaper to schools

	b) Software / Hardware

The Acorn Version has always been stronger in the Amount
of Software you get for your money, and when the Pocket
Book II came out this was very much more evident, with the
Psion have the bare essentials and the Acorn version
having everything it's predecessor had. However as for
Hardware, although basically the Same beasts the Psion
versions always tend to have more Memory coming in 2 and 4
meg versions where as the Acorns were more usually 512k or
 		1 Meg beasts.

Hoever Both the Psions and the Acorns are relatively out of date and
Acorn are soon (may have already) to release a New Laptop Type Acorn
(Hopefully Cheaper than the good old A4) and also probable the Pocket Book
III or whatever they decide to call it. And Psion Now have the 3c.

So in my opinion the Best bet is to wait for the New Acorn one or go for
the 3c or if you want something cheap depending on what you want it for a
Pocket Book II or Psion 3a

Good Luck
