I can write a simple BASIC program to add, subtract, multiply,
divide complex numbers by taking the real and imaginary parts
separately, but it always seems clumsy. I should like to be able
to enter, for example, "A=5+j7.3: B=3-j17" and use these
expressions to perform A*B, A/B etc.
Can anyone take me by the hand and show how I might achieve this?
