Ah, got it.

I guess what is needed for travelers is for the Marathon station to be an
IGate... Too bad they dont see the value of that to emergency response and
travelers. Oh well.

There seems to be a problem with the radar images findU gets from the NWS,
they have not updated in about 36 hours. I have cleared the radar cache on
both servers, but the re-loaded images are the same old ones, so the
problem is definitely on the NWS server. When I get a chance I'll take a
closer look to see if I can figure out the problem. If anyone has heard
anything about this problem elsewhere, please share your info!

There was a message with a fix on the Yahoo UIView list about the problem
yesterday. If you want I can go back and find it.

Thanks, someone already sent me the fix, and it should be online. Let
me know if anything isn't working.

Perhaps "the county" should be using a 150 MHz frequency then...

Why? Having it on APRS is nothing but a benefit to amateur radio.
Maybe not as much of a benefit as Bob would like, but a benefit
nevertheless!

Subject: [aprssig] Help for course/speed/altitude etc HF APRS
x-avg-checked=avg-ok-44771608

I am trying to get my mobile position reports to show up with
speed/altitude/course etc and nothing seems to work, only the current
position, each time I Tx. Using HF 10MHz freq motorcycle mobile with SCS
DSP Tracker, then tried my Tigertronics TM1+ and still no good. GPS is
putting out the $GPRMC string (TM1+ won't work at all, unless it gets it)
tried a Magellan 315 and a Garmin MAP76S as well. My Home HF UIVIEW32 only
sees my mobile positions, like findu.com & aprsworld etc. Both my radios
are IC703s (not that, that should matter)
Both tracker units seem to work ok in every other way.
Any ideas?

Subject: [aprssig] Decode software - 1200 baud ASCII

Gudday

I have a 16F628 PIC and an MX614 sending 1200/2200 Hz 1200 baud ascii.

Is there a software program around that will decode this using the sound
card ?

Cheers
