Nope. However, I just tried UI-DF last night (Thanks Chris PA7RHM) and it
works great. Any UI-View station can run it. If between two and five
stations beacon the bearing to the RF source, and any station running UI-DF
tells it which stations to receive the data from, UI-DF will draw the
bearing from each of those stations on the map and create an object where
they intersect. It looks very slick.

Subject: [aprssig] Obsolete RELAY mobile Digipeaters?

Hummh. That means all such mobiles are driving around as default RELAY
digipeaters.... And turned ON.
Obsolete, yes, but actually, this may be a hidden blessing under the new
Paradigm, since it helps assure us that by default, these mobile radios
will -not- be digipeating every packet they hear from every other mobile in
range.
I guess I would say leave it alone. The correct setting now would be
WIDE1-1, but -only- if the routine setting is DIGI OFF. This way, the
informed user can activate it if needed but it will not add unintentional
QRM by people that are not aware that it is not a good idea normally.
The DEFAULT UNIVERSAL setting for ALL D700's is recommended to have UITRACE
set to TEMP, 10. This setting then permits any D700 at any time, anywhere
to be used as a TEMPn-N digi. This is ideal for Field Day and for
come-as-you-are disaster response.
See http://www.ew.usna.edu/~bruninga/aprs/fd2007.html
Hope that helps
