Hi All
Since there is so little activity on the APRSsig of late, I cannot resist.
Powerpoles!
Let us hope we never witness the "Silence Of The Hams"

I lost the cable that connects the head to the body while moving the radio
to a new vehicle. Could someone please verify that it's wired straight thru
with both keys up and pins 1 & 6 are empty on the 6 pin connector?

Yes. In a table form the wiring pins would look like this:
4 - 6
-----
- 1 (empty)
1 2
2 3
3 4
4 5
- 6 (empty)

Richard Sharp, KQ4KX has done some testing and concludes that the better
setting of TXD for his digipeaters is with a TXD of 180ms. His testing
with a TXD of 150ms at his digipeater measured about 9% of packets were not
decoded. At 170ms just over 2% weren't decoded. 180ms and above was 100%.
He was using a D700 for his test receiver.
For what it's worth.
