It's misleading to call it an ISO if it has audio tracks, though. Will dd
copy audio tracks from /dev/cdrom?
Might be easier to have the .wav or .aiff files posted separately for
download.

Updated Info
It turns out that the Nero version is working for me after all; I was
misunderstanding how the mixed mode CD would appear in the various playing
software. The CD Player does not appear in my Accessories/Entertainment
menu. [Windows XP Pro] I used the trick suggested on this list earlier of
using MediaPlayer to rip the disk, abort the rip, then go back and play the
tracks.

With the raw ISO images, most burners that I am familiar with, take right
off and you're there. Our problem, (mine), is not RTFM and I apologize.. I
had not see this method or heard of it, the dual CD I mean, so I learned
something again yesterday! Thanks...

Subject: [aprssig] Service monitors
Can anyone recommend a good, affordable service monitor? I'm assuming just
about anything would be OK for setting deviation and such, but I also want a
spectrum analyzer and the ability to show recovered FM audio to examine
packet waveforms and analyze preemphasis. Operation up to 500 MHz would be
good, but I'd settle for 200 MHz.
The HP 8920A with appropriate options looks good - I just got outbid on
eBay, though. Guess I'll have to wait for another one to come around. I'm
hoping to find something under $2500. Might have got it this time if I'd
been about 10 seconds later on my bid.
Any suggestions?

I missed the dual mode part of the image discussion. I was thinking that
there would be mp3s on the disk to play as files. But, that would not make
it possible to hook up a simple CD player (older ones anyway) to play the
sounds into the TNC.
The cdrpack tools are still worth knowing about!

I don't remember enough about the MP3 algorithm, except that it's
definitely a lossy compression - I don't know how that would work for an
audio data stream, might mess things up enough to skew the results.
Though, FLAC is lossless, but even less things can play that.

MP3s would be bad in this case. They get their compression by quantizing
the signal to fit in a given bitrate, using a psychoacoustic model to decide
which components can be discarded without being noticeable. It might SOUND
ok, but you're going to totally mangle AFSK. That's why it's got to be
..wav, .aiff, or some other lossless format.
