"This is "Anti-Tracker" ?! Makes no sense!"

The phrase "anti-tracker" itself makes no sense, it sounds like an exercise
in high-falutin illiteracy. An "anti-tracker" would logically be a box that
actively blocks tracking devices, or corrupts their data, or in some other
was was "anti" meaning "against" trackers.

By any other name a rose would smell as sweet and all that other good
stuff, but please....

I think the name is something Darryl came up with to describe his device,
and since there was no other term in use, it's been adopted to generically
describe anything of that type. If Darryl's naming process is anything
like mine, then he probably spent about 10 seconds staring at a 'New
Project' window before typing in whatever came to mind. So don't blame him
too much, I'm sure he didn't intend to start this!

No did I when I asked a simple technical question about a given radio's
capabilities...

And yes, I was using the term coined by someone (Darryl) to describe an
APRS->GPS->Waypoint device..

Hmmmm, maybe that's the name for it.. l2w (location-to-waypoint)

How about SRPA (Sequential Realtime Packet Actualizer)the un APRS? You
could even pronounce it "Sarpa".
