INDIA requires Macintosh System 7.1, or better, on either a Motorola 68020 cpu, or better, with 32-bit addressing enabled, or on a PPC cpu.
Macintoshes with the "Sleep"-mode enabled may switch off the ports prior to going to sleep !
An ICOM CI-V CT-17 interface is required to control the ICOM units.
All commands listed in the CT-17 manual are implemented, however, in a non-blocking mode, so watchout !
Be extremely careful if enabling the "transceive"-option with several ICOMs on the same bus ! Check the manual for explanations.
With 'transceive' enabled a scanning ICOM will report mode and frequency, if and when pausing, which will come in handy indeed if checking for band-intruders. However, if there are other ICOMs on the bus operating within the same frequency range, then the

INDIA has been tested on ICOM's IC-475, IC-820, AND IC-821. If you'd like to run INDIA with other IOCM units, let me konw.
