I wonder then why Macs are not more popular with the general public if
they are so superior to PCs. Probably  it is the  high cost of the
machine, and the vast range of software available for Windows.. 
Personally  I only know of three people who use Macs and one of those is
an engineer and one of the other two is his son.The rest use PCs and
Windows. Is it the much higher price of the Mac? I have used PCs for years
now (ever since I dumped my  Commodore 128) and Windows from 3.1.1 and I
must say that I have not found many problems with them except for once
when a hard drive carked it. I guess that could happen with Macs too.
