Having spent many years working Mode-A, I am now considering Mode-J, (70cm
s downlink), but have no receiver.
Can anyone suggest an economical and effective solution to receive 435-438
MHz, with at least 1KHz tuning step, preferably having all mode capability
, though initially FM only would suffice. (TX not essential).
I would appreciate any specific equipment recommendations.
I already have an all mode HF transceiver, if required as a tuneable IF, i
f the best solution would be to use a receive downconverter.
The 70cms downlink antenna is already built and installed on the mast.
I just have to connect something to the equipment end of the feeder !
