Sorry John,
but as Packet has been broken up this much as it is due to people proclaiming 
the Internet is much better that the 'outdated' Packet system, and quite a 
few actively trying to break down packet, your idea is just ludicrous...

The only reason now that you do see this bulletin from me, is because I did 
revert to using InterneP (nep is Dutch for fake) forwarding, as we basically 
are on an island consideing Packet RADIO.....

And obviously, when a connect goes via an InterneP tunnel, you might as well 
straight away go and use IM, Google Chat, MSM, or whatever chat option is 
available on the Internet....
The only link with Amateur Radio in a chat might then be that the two 
parties in in both hold an AR licence, but that's all it is then.....
