Many years ago I was told of a Alvis buried
in a back garden a few miles outside Oldham,
the story goes that the owner put the car up
for sale but got offers that he was not prepared
to accept, "cars like that were worth nothing
at the time" so he buried the car in is back
garden, when ever I drive passed I wonder if
the story is true and if so what is still there.
