Subject: VK3BEW-3 portable progress.
Hi all,
Thanks all those who have responded to my bulitine about my RF portable packet
venture in Northeast Victoria.
So far one station G4APL - paul has made it to vk3rnu-1 and due to the laptop
being off and me still being on 'the perch' at 7am he had no luck with vk3bew-3.
However I am not sure how paul got to vk3rnu-1 but his call was on the mheard list
on the digi for about a day.
No other stations, from another country or area have been seen.
The weather currently is quite poor and seeing I dont have a car, I have had the laptop
system up and running in a spare area at home in it's portable state.
I mailed a card to paul today so he should get this soon depending on the 'snail-mail' to
the UK.
