He Ray, I bought an FT817 but have not used it in the 2 years I have owned
it except for tracking down some phone conversations on 6 metres in the
car!! Maybe I am getting old; I have had experience with many, many
transceivers without any problems in operation but this one has me beaten.
For starters the controls are so tiny and the interlocking of the
clarifier with tuning speeds has me baffled.Duh!
