Hi All,
Notice there is a bit of angst over the length of bulletins sent by some
stations...

Here at VK3FBD all bulletins are welcome up to what ever length the author

likes... Truncated bulletins leave me feeling like I do after reading a
"readers Digest" condensed book. ie wondering what someone else has
decided for me that I didn't need to see.

HTML is appreciated, if nothing else it puts a bit of colour in the
messages. I rather miss the good old days when there was a lot more HTML
sent out. I still have all the old HTMLIB, HTMLMID and HTMLWAV files
stored and ready for use. I could probably 7+ them all out if anyone is
interested.

7+ is likewise welcome in any form but is preferred (not required) with a
max part size of about 8-10k and as many parts as you like.

About the only thing that I don't personally like, but which are still
passed without prejudice are files, particularly jpegs, which have been
zipped (using winzip or similar) before being sent using 7+. It seems a
bit
pointless because the files are already compressed when jpegs, and
compression is not needed for text.

                          Regards Tony VK3FBD (sysop)
