Surely this is a Win95/Win98 issue ?
I used to run AGW, coupled to a TNC and a 19k serial link (2 ports in all)
24hrs a day, with no crashes. I'd use Sally for Packet and UI-View for APRS
and all was hunky dory.
Andy, are you using the latest version of AGW ?
FYI: I'm not using AGW anymore, I decided not to run serial cable from the old
shack to the new shack (studio), so it's just a CAT5 for.
