Hi Ian and all,

Those rocket boosters being extremely expensive is one reason NASA chose
Cape Canaveral for a launch center being near the ocean. The initial
phase takes the rocket out to sea so when dropped the booster(s) may be
recovered intact with minimal damage.

Baird gets no respect because he wasn't American and everybody knows
Farnsworth invented television. Famous names live on and Prof. Farnsworth
is a recurring character in Futurama. After all, television honors its
father.

Now I'll give you your leg back, it can only stretch so far.
