Here is more information about the ME 262 :
(Abbreviated)
ME 262A-1a (Schwalbe) 1 seated hunter

ME 262B-1a 2 seated night hunter
Max speed : 870 Km/h A-1a \ 755Kmh A-2a \ 800Kmh
B-1a
Max climb at first 1200m/min. all types
Climb to 9000 m : 13,1 min.
Max height : 11,500m
Max reach : 1050 (with internal fuel tank)
First flight : 4 April 41
First regular (!) use : September 1944
Apparently 1433 each where manufactured , to the
bitter end.
This plane could have changed the outcome of the
war, but as usual : too little too late.
Also Adolf ordered this type to be flown as
"Bomber"
