The Ka 13 is the most used and oldest glider after the T21b which got so
many boy scouts and air cadets into the air.
It is a tandem two seater, very easy to fly and really does make you feel
like a bird. Despite appearences, it isn't fibreglass, it is wood and
canvas.

I spotted this while staying at Perranporth in the county of Cornwall.
Some ab initio had confused one end of the runway with the other. I had
flown from there. What makes it a good site is the fact that it is on top
of a cliff facing south west, the prevailing wind direction in the UK.
This gives a very powerful lift as you sail slowly over the cliff. A bit
like suddenly running into wave but cheaper..

I couldn't remember if I had sent it out before but so many of those who
would have seen it have gone now so it doesn't really matter.

All the best from - Ian, G0TEZ @ GB7FCR
